2019 Summary

2019 was the year of intensive building. The co-founders fully immersed themselves in Y Combinator’s Winter 2019 batch, renting a single house in Oakland, which served as an important starting point for the team's culture. Their successful Demo Day pitch led directly to a seed funding round. Post-YC, the team began to expand, making pivotal early hires that helped to establish Customer-First at our core– teams like Customer Support and Success were introduced to our customer lifecycle. It was also the year our five core values—FEACH—were officially coined during the first Denver offsite. FEACH stands for Fearlessness, Excellence, Animal, Customer-first and Humility. The team’s resilience was immediately tested when Brown Friday took down the national MMS network, forcing us to quickly engineer our own MMS controls to prevent issues, demonstrating our early commitment to product stability and customer trust.

Outside the Oakland House

The CoFounders pose outside their rented house in Oakland, CA they rented during YCombinator Winter Class. Headed to YC Demo Day! We worked out of the kitchen of this house in Oakland for 3 months and some of our very top customers were Zamage, E2 Agency, and GoatGuns. Not many people know this, but there are actually 4 Postscript cofounders. Luna was awarded this distinction after putting in serious emotional support work in those early days.
