Understanding how popups drive subscriber growth just got easier. Our revamped analytics dashboard now offers two ways to measure performance:
Opted-in Subscriber View – Focus on opt-ins that have successfully become subscribers, giving you a more accurate view of actual SMS list growth.
Submission View – See how many visitors attempt to sign up, even if they don’t complete the opt-in process. This helps you identify opportunities to optimize your popups and improve conversion rates.

Custom Properties for Popups: More Personalization, No Extra Work
Personalized messaging starts with better data collection. Merchants can now capture text and date (MM/DD) custom properties directly in popups, making it easier to tailor SMS campaigns based on subscriber preferences.
Even better, our new popup editor automatically integrates with existing custom properties, so there’s no extra setup required. This means you can start leveraging richer customer data instantly—without additional work.

Age Gating for SMS Marketing Eligibility
Compliance is essential for all brands using SMS, especially those in regulated industries. Postscript popups can now verify a shopper’s age before they opt into SMS or email, ensuring only eligible subscribers sign up.
Key details:
Age verification happens before SMS or email collection, helping brands stay compliant.
The date entered cannot be used for marketing—brands should use the “Date” custom property for that instead.
This is not a website-wide age gate; it only applies to SMS and email opt-ins.
Now available upon request for SHAFT and SHAFT-adjacent brands.
Brand Center Updates: Contextual Samples and Feedback
With our latest Brand Center enhancement, you can now select contextual samples—like browse abandonment, abandoned cart, or campaign messages—and see exactly how your brand voice is reflected based on the settings you've configured in the Brand Center.
