What’s New in Postscript: January 2026 Product Updates

Over the past two months, we’ve shipped a wide range of updates across Postscript, designed to help brands personalize offers, protect margins, improve onsite experiences, and gain clearer visibility into performance.

From smarter incentive delivery and advanced discounting to expanded analytics access and new popup gamification, these releases give you more control and flexibility as you scale. Here’s everything that’s new.

Fondue CashBack: Redemption Limits

You can now set clear redemption limits for each CashBack promotion, choosing between single-use or unlimited redemption based on what makes sense for your business. Redemption Limits help protect margins while giving you the flexibility to tailor incentives to your brand and growth goals. With built-in guardrails, you can confidently scale acquisition offers without worrying about unintended repeat redemptions.

CashBack promotions default to single-use per customer, with the option to switch to unlimited if preferred. If a customer attempts to redeem a single-use promotion more than once, the reward is automatically suspended, with the ability to manually unsuspend if needed. Available now for all Fondue customers.

Offer Management: Advanced Discounting

Postscript now supports advanced Shopify discount types directly in automations and Shopper. Advanced Discounting unlocks the sophisticated promotions merchants already run, including stacked discounts, Buy X Get Y offers (Gift With Purchase), and subscription-specific incentives. This flexibility helps improve AOV and LTV while aligning Postscript promotions with brands' existing discount strategies.

Advanced Discounting will be available in Automation Flows to all customers over the coming weeks.

Shopper: Targeted Offers (Alpha)

Shopper Targeted Offers let you tell Shopper which incentive to show to specific subscriber segments, so each audience sees the offer that makes the most sense for them. By tailoring incentives for cohorts like new subscribers, VIPs, or repeat buyers, brands can improve relevance, reduce offer fatigue, and maximize performance. Assign offers to any Postscript segment, and Shopper automatically delivers the correct incentive to eligible subscribers based on their segment and buyer journey.

Targeted Offers will be available to all brands on Shopper in the coming weeks.

Enhanced Analytics: Expanded Access

Enhanced Analytics dashboards are now available to all Postscript customers, regardless of plan. With expanded access, every merchant can better understand what’s driving revenue across campaigns, automations, popups, and list growth tools. These insights make it easier to identify what’s working and prioritize optimizations that move the needle.

Popups: Mystery Offer Template

A new Mystery Offer popup template designed to introduce a fun, engaging gamification pattern. Gamified experiences can increase engagement and opt-in rates. The Mystery Offer template makes it easy to surprise site visitors with incentives while keeping popups intentional and aligned with your brand. This is available now to all merchants.

Popups: Copiable Discount Codes

Popups can now display a copyable discount code after a subscriber opts in. Making discount codes visible and easy to copy helps improve clarity and conversion. After opting in, dynamic discount codes are displayed directly in the popup for easy copying, while auto-apply functionality remains supported. Available now for all merchants using dynamic coupon codes in Postscript popups.

Popups: Cooldown Controls

Merchants now have access to Popup Cooldown controls that offer more flexibility over how often popups appear to site visitors. Marketers can define the time gap between popup impressions, making it easier to space out experiences and create a smoother, more intentional onsite journey. Cooldowns begin after a popup is closed and ensure no impressions are lost. This is available now for all merchants using Postscript popups.

Product Collection Data in Automation Triggers

Automation triggers can now be filtered and split based on Shopify product collections. Merchants organize products by collections, and automations can now match that same structure, making setup faster and more intuitive. Filter product-based trigger events by collection, split flows by collection membership, and apply this logic across more than 15 automation triggers. This is available now for all merchants.

Improved Infinity Testing Campaign Dashboard

Brands using Infinity Testing now have access to an updated Infinity Testing Campaign dashboard with clearer, more intuitive performance views. The new dashboard makes it easier to understand incremental impact at a glance and quickly identify winning days and campaigns. This dashboard adds cumulative incremental revenue views, daily breakdowns, and improved alignment with other Infinity Testing analytics.
