Grab your water bottle, head to the nearest lake or pool, or maybe crank up that AC because July just got a WHOLE lot hotter, y'all! Your Monthly Product Updates are here and they are piping hot with Flow Builder and Subscriber LTV updates.

Subscriber Lifetime Value and ARMR Metrics are now available in your dashboard.

We’ve developed a proprietary, channel-specific measurement focused on long-term customer value—what we are calling Subscriber Lifetime Value (Subscriber LTV).

Subscriber LTV forecasts the total revenue potential of your SMS subscribers, including both customers and non-customers. That’s right - these metrics can track the future value of your brand’s SMS program.

ARMR Dashboard

The driving forces behind Subscriber LTV are a set of metrics we call ARMR - Acquisition Rate, Revenue per Message, Messages per Subscriber, and Retention Rate. You can learn more about how these metrics are calculated here

Let’s take a look at more of July’s product updates and how they could impact your brand’s ARMR metrics and your overall Subscriber LTV:

Use Flow Builder to Send Order Updates with AfterShip.

Use the Postscript x AfterShip integration to increase your brand’s M (Messages per Subscriber) score. Messaging is the single biggest lever your brand can utilize to increase the rest of your metrics. If subscribers aren’t being engaged or texted on a consistent, ongoing basis, it is easy for brands to lose mindshare and increase sensitivity to unsubscribes.

Leverage Recharge triggers in Flow Builder.

By texting subscribers when they sign up for (or cancel) a subscription or when they’ve abandoned a Recharge cart, shops can not only potentially improve their M and R (Revenue per Message) metrics but also can reinforce brand loyalty and recognition. Bonus!! Recharge subscribers can sign up for SMS at checkout allowing brands to also increase their A (Acquisition Rate) metric. Learn more here.

Capture a wider range of subscriber responses or actions with Flow Builder’s ‘Wait For Event’ tool.

Wait for Event Branching allows shops to easily visualize and build flows, add automated responses to subscriber replies, and even automate follow-ups to previous messages based on subscriber actions like subscriber responses.

With this update, you can now add multiple matches to each branch, making it easier to account for variations in potential subscriber responses while maintaining an automated flow. By creating highly customizable and personalized experiences that engage customers, brands can impact their M (Messages per Subscriber) and R (Revenue per Message) metrics.
