What’s New in Postscript: April 2026 Product Updates
This month's releases include foundational tools that give merchants more control over acquisition and automation, and AI updates that make Infinity Testing faster and Shopper easier to train and improve. Let's take a look!
Back-in-Stock, Done Right
Back-in-Stock is one of those features every ecommerce brand needs and we rebuilt it from the ground up based on real customer feedback.
New Back-in-Stock popups come with full design control, scheduling, A/B testing, email collection, and Klaviyo integration, built on our Onsite Opt-in framework for a cleaner subscriber experience. For Klaviyo merchants, emails collected through a Back-in-Stock popup automatically trigger a Back-in-Stock email for the same variant so subscribers hear from you through both channels without any extra setup. Non Back-in-Stock popups are fully standalone with their own analytics, and you can clone between standard popups and Back-in-Stock popups in either direction.
Back-in-Stock is also now a native trigger in Flow Builder. Back-in-Stock was the last core automation outside of Flow Builder and it's now fully consolidated. Configure per-unit enrollment controls, inventory thresholds, and filter by product, collection, or variant, all alongside the rest of your automations. Merchants with existing legacy Back-in-Stock automations can migrate them in one step using the updated migration tool, which carries over message content and merge tags.

Run Infinity Testing on Tighter Campaign Windows
Infinity Testing campaigns now support testing windows as short as one hour. Drag it into the campaign you were already planning to send. No new lists, no additional sends, no extra planning required.
For shorter windows, we recommend optimizing for Unique Click-Through Rate (UCTR). It's the stronger signal when you're working with smaller segments, tighter time windows, early funnel learning, or engagement-first campaigns where clicks are the goal before conversion.
AI outperforms inspiration messages approximately 82% of the time and delivers up to 40% EPM lift. If your message wins, it goes out at no extra cost.
Keep Subscribers in the Thread with RCS Webview
When subscribers tap a link in an RCS message, they now stay inside the messaging thread instead of being sent to an external browser. The Open Link action supports three display modes — Full, Tall, or Half — so merchants can control how much screen the linked content takes up.
It's a natural fit for cart recovery and order tracking flows, where fewer hand-offs to the browser means fewer drop-offs. If a device or carrier doesn't support webviews, the link falls back to the browser automatically so there are no broken experiences.

Smarter Feedback for Shopper Responses
Merchants and their teams can now submit structured feedback directly on any Shopper message response. After a thumbs-down, select a reason and get routed directly to the relevant Brand Center setting to address it.

Available now for all brands using Shopper within Conversations.
Build Landing Pages to Collect More Subscribers
We’ve launched a new landing pages solution built with our popup editor giving brands a powerful, conversion-focused way to capture subscribers directly on mobile and desktop.
These pages include Onsite Opt-In, spin-to-win, quizzes, discount blocks, email capture, QR codes, and short links all within Postscript. Consent language is handled directly within the landing page experience, simplifying compliance and link sharing.

More Popup Control, Across the Board
We've shipped a lot of popup-specific updates this month. All of them built from direct merchant feedback. Here's what's new:
Scroll-depth triggers: Fire popups based on how far a visitor scrolls. This can be a stronger intent signal than time-on-page alone
Per-platform teaser toggle: Enable or disable the popup teaser independently on desktop and mobile
Time zone–aware countdown timers: "Ends at midnight" now means midnight for each subscriber in their own timezone, wherever they are
Resizable close button: Adjust close button size for accessibility-focused brands and mobile-heavy stores
Scratch-off auto-advance: After scratching off their offer, subscribers automatically progress to the next step
Bidirectional cloning: Reuse any popup, back-in-stock popup, or landing page as the starting point for a new one. No rebuilding from scratch.
First page visited targeting: Show popups based on a visitor's first landing page instead of managing UTM rules for every ad. Also available as a filter in automation flows and segments.
Teaser exclude pages: Suppress the teaser on specific pages without turning it off site-wide
Teaser z-index control: Adjust teaser layering so it coexists cleanly with other elements on the page
Available now for all shops.
Give Every Team Member the Right Level of Access
Admins can now assign three new predefined roles to team members: Support Agent, Viewer, and Analyst.
Support Agent provides access to conversations and subscriber opt-outs
Viewer offers read-only visibility across the platform.
Analyst delivers full
analytics access, including export, alongside read-only access to
campaigns, flows, subscribers, and popups.

All existing roles remain unchanged. Available now under User settings.
