Postscript Launches Email on a New AI-Native Retention Marketing Platform

Today Postscript launched email on a new AI-native platform, extending the company beyond SMS for the first time. Along with email, the company announced the Agentic Context Platform (ACP), a new foundation that stores customer context and acts on it at the moment of send.

The Agentic Context Platform (ACP), is a shared context layer that every Postscript product reads from and writes to. The platform holds three kinds of context: customer context, including purchase history, onsite behavior and what shoppers say in conversations with Postscript's AI agents; brand context, covering voice, catalog, offers and rules; and performance data from every test running in an account. A customer data platform unifies data so a marketer can analyze it. The ACP unifies it so Postscript Agent Layer, Shopper, can act, deciding what each subscriber receives and sending it.

Postscript customers running SMS can add email without changes to their existing program; the two channels share a single customer profile and context layer.

Email arrives with identity resolution that unifies multiple email addresses, phone numbers, and Shopify records into one profile; four configurable attribution models; and migration tooling that brings over existing flows, segments, and templates, including imported design files.

"Every platform on the market stores context and hands you a segment builder. But customers tell you what they want - plainly, in their own words - and almost no system does anything with it," says Adam Turner, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Postscript. "The ACP does something with it. A brand shouldn't have to approximate a one-to-one relationship with a segment of twelve thousand people."

"Customers have asked us for email for eight years. We said no every time, because the last thing anyone needed was another email tool that works like the rest of them," says Alex Beller, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Postscript. "Now we can give them something genuinely better, on a foundation built for it, at a price that doesn't punish them for growing their profiles. That was worth waiting for," says Alex Beller, Co-CEO and Co-Founder.

AVAILABILITY

Postscript's email product is available on a first come first serve basis, starting with existing customers. The company hosted a live product walkthrough on September 23, featuring a demonstration inside a live customer account. Registration and interest forms are available at postscript.io/email.
